Recipe will assist you to manage all this information so that, for example, reports, customized specifications, including all the desired information; Recipe is also a powerful query tool to identify or locate all items that meet such particular characteristic.
Broadly speaking, you have the ingredients (or building blocks) that you associate properties or characteristics of such nutritional, allergen, claims cost, … then you build your recipe by taking these elementary and intermediate recipes to arrive at your finished product. You can then ask the tool to display all the information at any level of this consolidation.
In addition, Designer and PDM (Product Data Manager) can be your document environment by designing input screens (Designer) that can be used in local, networked or deported on the Internet (via the Hamilton Grant site). It provides unlimited user-friendly information for your partners or suppliers to collect data that can automatically feed your databases, and therefore Recipe.
These tools can be installed on sites of different sizes:
. on small sites with 1 or 2 people in the Development Department, working in Client/Server or not, and in an Access database
. on medium sites and / or multi-sites with 3 to 15 people using Recipe simultaneous, in Client/Server on a SQL type
. on quite consistent sites and/or multi-sites with more than 50 people simultaneously using Recipe (facilities with more than 100/200 persons are possible), and operating in Client/Server databases such Oracle.
These systems can of course operate in multiple languages, and now in Unicode to handle Chinese, Japanese or Arabic characters, if needed.
Finally, these systems are completely open, so you can import or export information with any other system already present in the company with Excel, Access, ERP, MIS, ...
